Dynamo Academica FC, a fast-rising football academy in Nigeria, is making significant strides in talent development and international collaborations, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing the next generation of Nigerian football stars.
Led by Okaka Harrison Omokhagbo, a dynamic force in Nigerian football administration, the academy is currently expanding its global network through strategic partnerships in Europe. Omokhagbo’s ongoing tour in Italy and France has seen him engage with key football stakeholders, including Bernard Lama, the former French international goalkeeper and World Cup winner.
As part of its ambitious expansion, Dynamo Academica FC is in advanced discussions with FC Metz of France to establish an international youth academy in Nigeria, a move that could redefine talent development in the country.
Beyond its talks with FC Metz, the academy has also secured partnerships with leading football agencies, including Play IT Agency, headed by Oren Sterling, and TL-IL Nigeria Ltd, owned by Levinsky Tomer. These alliances aim to enhance talent scouting, development, and pathways for Nigerian players into the competitive European football market.
Dynamo Academica FC operates as a high-performance football academy in Edo State, with a mission to train and prepare young talents for professional careers in top leagues worldwide. Established in December 2014 and officially incorporated in 2015, the academy quickly gained affiliation with the Edo State Football Association and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Since its inception, Dynamo Academica FC has provided a platform for young talents across Nigeria, producing promising footballers who have progressed to the European leagues. Among its standout graduates are Tejumola Ayorinde, Etim John, and Gabriel Obekpa, who currently plays for Bodrum FK in the Turkish Super League.
The academy’s scouting and recruitment strategy, refined in 2018, focuses on key football attributes such as height, body size, and posture, ensuring that opportunities are extended nationwide to identify Nigeria’s best young footballers.
With its growing international collaborations, Dynamo Academica FC is poised to become a leading pipeline for Nigerian players into European football.
