Wesley Ogude’s remarkable journey from Nigeria to Canada began in 2001 when he immigrated to pursue further career opportunities. He honed his skills by attending the SAP Academy in Toronto, becoming a Certified SAP Application Consultant, and subsequently supporting and leading the implementation of large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for multinational companies. His illustrious professional career includes leading roles in corporations such as General Electric, CGI Consulting, Oxford properties and Purolator Inc. At Purolator, he became the first black Finance Director in the company’s 50-year history, contributing significantly to managing complex outsourcing contracts, which saved the company CAD$85 Million (N51 billion). His achievements earned him a corporate scholarship to pursue an Executive MBA at Queen’s School of Business, at Canada’s Prestigious Queens University, from where he graduated with distinction in 2010.

In 2015, Wesley embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, eventually establishing start-up companies in Canada, the US, and Nigeria. Before emerging as the Group CEO of Springwells, he served as the Group Finance Director of Canacede Group of Company, a Canadian consumer financing group, and as the Head of Cash Treasury at Oxford Properties, one of Canada’s largest commercial real estate multinational companies.

Wesley’s expertise spans various industries, including investment & commercial banking, IT consulting, consumer financing, integrated logistics, and commercial real estate. He is renowned for his proficiency in Sales, Marketing, Operations, IT & systems implementation, Finance, strategic planning & Decision supports, audit, Taxation & governance, Treasury, Asset negotiation, acquisition, and management, entity and start-up formation, and wealth consulting.

Beyond his professional success, Wesley who is named one of Canada’s top 100 most influential Canadians, is a dedicated philanthropist and mentor to numerous young professionals and executives across Africa, Canada, Europe, Asia and the US. His commitment to community service earned him the prestigious Black History award from the Toronto Police.
