As expected, it was colourful, fun and classy, with high society personalities and celebrities in attendance at the 40th birthday party of Chief Folashade Noimat Okoya, the gorgeous wife of billionaire industrialist, Aare Razak Akanni Okoya.

The grand party, last Sunday, held at the hall inside the expansive estate of the founder of Eleganza Group of Companies, known as the Oluwa-ni-Shola Estate.

From the looks of things, no stone was left unturned in hosting the classy shindig. The celebrant must specifically have asked that the dress code be sharp, for all the guests came looking totally on point. Many of the men tried their best to look debonairly, while the ladies were gorgeous, all in the bid to wish the lady of the day a happy birthday and felicitate with her and her family in a beautiful and convivial atmosphere.

The birthday cake was gigantic, the type one might have mistook for a wedding cake, and the gathering, for a wedding feast. It was very obvious that good money was well spent to host those who attended the event.

The guests included the wife of the Ooni of Ife, who came along with her cousin, Jennifer Obayuwana, the Executive Director at Polo Ltd; Chief and Mrs. Mike Inegbese of Ineh Mic fame; billionaire industrialist himself and good buddy of RAO, Chief Samuel Adedoyin, and his gorgeous age-defying wife, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa; Lanre Tejuosho; former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel; Justice George Adesola Oguntade, and wife, Modupe; Olu Okeowo of the Palacio De Okeowo fame; Stella Chinyelu Okoli of Emzor; Oba Adedapo Tejuosho, Osile Oke-Ona; Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Elegushi of Ikateland; and Chief Ajibola Ogunsola, former chairman of Punch newspapers.

Others were Mrs. Abah Folawiyo; Princess Yewande Onilere; Kemi Nelson; former speaker of Ogun S Assembly, Titi Oseni; Sonny and Betty Irabor of Inspiration FM & Genevieve Magazine fame; boardroom guru, Mrs. Nike Akande; Skymit Motors Chairman, Tayo Ayeni; his good friend, Dapo Abiodun; RAO’s daughter, Biola Okoya; Nollywood’s powerhouse, Zik Zulu-Okafor; and so many others.

Madam Kofo, Abiola Atanda, was in her element, but without her skyscraper of a headgear, so also was MC/comedian, ever-young Tunde Adewale, aka Tee A. On the bandstand was Olamide.
