Holiday getaway at La Campagne Tropicana

In a bid to create an atmosphere of fun and excitement for families during the Yuletide season, travel and event management company, Leotravent is planning a special three-day Christmas holiday tagged Family and Friends Retreat.

Billed for December 16 to 18, the package include a visit to La Campagne Tropicana, spa treatment, hotel accommodation, boat cruise, dinner and breakfast, including indoor and outdoor activities for all registered participants.

Speaking at a media briefing held recently in Lagos to herald the event, the CEO of Leotravent, Adeniyi Obidipe, informed that the tour is pasrt of the company’s commitment to providing platforms for families to unwind and bond, after months of hard work.

“After working from January to December, we felt there’s need to create an opportunity for families to come together and relax. It’s going to be three days of fun, networking and rejuvenating for families and friends. We are going in a group of people who takes up this advantage to unwind by the seaside of La Campagne Tropicana. It is an opportunity to meet new people and network, share ideas,” he said.

On the choice of location for the tour, Obidipe explained, “we wanted a situation where the people will be away from the usual stress of the city. So, we decided to have the activities around La Campagne; the hotel is also on that axis,” he said.

The tour, according to Obidipe, is also a way of promoting local tourism in Nigeria.

“For the tourism sector to be vibrant, there’s need to promote local tourism and this is part of it. In future, we plan to expand the tour to other parts of the country,” he said.

The highlight of the retreat will be on the third day, when there would be a boat cruise, buffet and entertainment from comedian, MC Ajele. The take-off point is Lekki Phase 1, Lagos and the three-day tour will cost N180, 000 for a couple while single entry costs N100, 000.

“Apart from being cost effective, Leotravent has ensured that participants will be provided good service and premium hotel facilities,” he assured.

Apart from tour packaging, Leotravent is also an event management company.
