How Verve Truly African Campaign Celebrates Entrepreneurism

TRUE to its business strategy of celebrating African ingenuity, entrepreneurism and business success across the continent, one of the leading home-grown pan-African payment card brand, Verve, has launched Verve, Truly African campaign to consumers.
The event, which took place at the Protea Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos, was designed to celebrate ingrained African talents, skills and ideas.
Verve is a division of Interswitch Transactional Holdings, a leading pan-African integrated payment company which offers convenience and security for its customers, while also ensuring profitability for its association members.
Speaking at the launch, the Chief Executive Officer, Verve International, Mr. Charles Ifedi maintained that the launch of the new TV commercial was meant to inspire Africans to seamlessly cross borders.
“At Verve, our vision is to create a totally interconnected continent where all Africans can feel the benefit and take advantage of rapid economic expansion and increasing prosperity. We will do this by providing world-class e-payment products and services that work seamlessly across borders, relentlessly pursuing a truly pan-African offering.”
The television commercial, which was aired in course of the media briefing, highlighted passion points in Nigerian sports, music and fashion. Nigerian icons within these bustling areas of entrepreneurship underscored the skills, creativity and determination noticeable in the average Nigerian. The campaign will run for three months and will include event sponsorship, TV advertising and a social media campaign that will celebrate a robust sense of pride and identification.
Using a system designed, built and maintained by Africans, Verve offers African consumers products highly tailored to their needs. Verve has also pioneered the expansion of modern financial services into both rural and urban areas, connecting hundreds of millions of African consumers to retailers across Africa and around the world through modern e-payment platforms.

Through this campaign, we will be giving Africans everywhere the opportunity to showcase their unique talent.”
