Ibinabo Fiberisima Egbuka Makes Her Directorial Debut

ACTRESS and President of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Ibinabo Fiberisima Egbuka has joined the now growing list of actresses turned directors.

IB, as Ibinabo is simply called by close friends, put a call through to Celebrityextra to say that she was already on location in her hometown Okrika, Rivers State helming her first film as a director.

The movie is titled ‘Gifted’ and the gifted artistes, former beauty queen, administrator and pageant organiser say she is excited about the project and enjoying every bit of the experience. “I went to study directing and what I am doing is just to put what I have learnt to practice and I am enjoying every bit of it”, she says.

The movie stars some of Nollywood’s leading names including star actor Segun Arinze and Abubakar Yakubu. Zino, Ibinabo’s daughter, also makes her acting debut in the movie
