The tranquil ambiance of The Garden, Lekki, bordering the Lagos Lagoon, provided the right atmosphere for this year’s edition of Strugz Inspires All White & Barefoot event. Conceived as a platform to enable individuals let go of their inhibitions in the areas of business, entrepreneurship, relationship and marriage, the evening had coach/mentor Victor Okigbo and Dolapo Kukoyi of Detail Solicitors, as speakers.

However, the intrigues of the event were the all-white dressing and barefoot by the guests. Some onlookers and residents of Wole Olateju Crescent, where The Garden is located, marveled by the unique outing, as they watched guests adhere strictly to the house rule. After a seeming shoe removal ritual, guests proceeded to the well-laid mat on the green grass, as they participated in the lively interactive session.

In line with the theme, Victor Okigbo helped the guests to identify areas they need to let go any inhibition from business, career and relationships. It was a practical mentorship with lots of references from his business experiences, investment and life in general.

One way of letting go the inhibition, according to Okigbo, is for a business founder to find a co-founder.

“If a founder cannot do that, there is a problem with his business model or his attitude. But the co-founder,” Victor noted.
