Born in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, into a family of five, iPraiz’s musical journey began remarkably early. At just three years old, he composed his first song, setting the stage for a lifelong devotion to music. His natural talent, coupled with a deep-seated passion for service and personal growth, has propelled him to become a versatile Gospel musician, songwriter, singer, recording artist, arranger, producer, vocal coach, music director, instructor, and multi-instrumentalist.

His formative years saw him taking on leadership roles as a music director in various settings, from secondary school ensembles to church youth choirs in Nigeria and beyond. IPRAIZ has attempted several competitions coming out on top also including one of the defining moments in iPraiz’s career was his triumph in the first edition of ‘The Shining Star Platform’ (TSSP) musical competition in 2016, where his talent and perseverance shone through despite challenging conditions.

In addition to his musical accomplishments, iPraiz has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the academic sphere. At Sheffield Hallam University, he served as the Student Union Business Technology and Engineering College Officer from 2020 to 2021 and went on to become the Student Union President from 2021 to 2022, representing over 35,000 students. His leadership was recognized with several awards, including ‘The Inspirational Student Award’ and the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Hallam Awards.

iPraiz’s influence extends beyond the recording studio and academic halls to the stage, where he has shared performances with some of the most revered names in Gospel music, including Dr. Tim Godfrey, JJ Hairston, Israel Houghton, and Nathaniel Bassey to
mention a few.

His annual LOUD CONCERT, which started in 2015 in Ilorin, has grown into a major event in Sheffield, attracting Gospel music ministers and worshipers from around the world.

The 2024 edition of LOUD CONCERT is particularly significant as it marks the first time the event will span two continents, with concerts held in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. The Nigerian leg of the tour, held on May 27, 2024, in Ilorin, was a resounding success, drawing an overflow crowd and featuring performances by Gospel luminaries such as Mike Abdul and Psalmos. The event was a powerful experience, filled with testimonies of salvation, miracles, and transformation.
