Medellinz Record berths, signs Payper Corleone
Joining the league of Nigerian music record labels poised to export African music globally is Medellinz Entertainment, which has launched its physical presence in Lagos, Nigeria.
At its opening ceremony held at the Micasa Haven, Lekki, Lagos State, the record label also signed a top and talented musical artiste, Asikpi Tombra, popularly known as Payper Corleone.
Medellinz Entertainment General Manager, Omodu Jack West, said the outfit debuted to showcase to Nigerians and the world what they have in stock, which is music at its best.
He noted that the signing of Payper Corleone as the outfit’s first artiste, spoke volumes about their intention as they look forward to getting more stars into the record label.
West hailed the record label executives, Solomon Onuoma, Michael Billions and Big Mitchel, for their determination to flout a top-notch record label as they set to take Nigeria and the world by storm.
Payper Corleone is not a newbie in the music and entertainment industry. The exploit of the rapper and lyricist in music has got him nominated twice for the prestigious Headies Award. He has worked with quite a number of top artists in the industry and is one of the fast-rising rappers in the country.
The artiste expressed optimism in the union and announced his readiness to do many great songs in pushing the record label far beyond expectation.
