My new single has a mixture of my genuine past experiences, says Jbold
Budding act, Emmanuel Omonigho Njambo, professionally known as JBold, has shared the inspiration behind his forthcoming single titled ‘I like’, which will be out next month.
The singer, who started singing at an early age of 5 while revealing what inspired his soon-to-be-released banger said, “My new single has a mixture of my genuine past experiences with my teenage crush, my growth as an artist and my love for the expressive instrumentals. They lead me to the direction where I get my stories/melodies from.”
Continuing, the indie artist said: “The vibe of my new sound is melodious and nostalgic because it reminds you a little bit of what you’ve probably been through or imagined. Plus there is a vibe in every song and I look forward to my fans liking this one.”
Jbold disclosed that Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid, is a modern-day artist, whom he has drawn inspiration from, because of how effortless he makes the music seem.
“He makes the music feel like inner peace. That’s big energy to tap into, he said.
Sharing his personal goals as an artist, he said, “My personals goal is to reach a number of audiences because I believe people will love my music and my style in general and create from my own kind of musical energy and sound.
“I’ll also like to give my grammy speech and say ‘Papa I did it for you”, said Jbold.
However, explaining how lyrics add to the structure of music, the artist said, “This is because I believe music should have a message that the listeners can connect with and probably envision as they listen to the song and that was one of my goals making this record.”
‘I Like’ was produced by Vynchie, mixed and mastered by OVRCZ. Jbold says his fans should look out for his forthcoming single and visuals which happens to be his debut video.
