When a workplace affair goes wrong, accusations of rape fly around, and millions of dollars are at stake, an ‘arbitration panel’ is convened to find out the truth. This is the situation in the film, The Arbitration, which hit the cinema yesterday.

Headlined by Nollywood’s charming ladies man, OC Ukeje, the Inkblot Production’s latest movie include Nollywood legends Sola Fosudo playing the Arbitrator and Iretiola Doyle playing the key part of Funlayo Johnson, a legal luminary with a domineering and winning attitude.

On the other side of the case is AMVCA winner Adesua Etomi who plays Dara Olujobi- Gbenga Sanni’s (OC Ukeje) former mistress and work colleague. Dara is an enterprising young woman who was a key part of the success of Gbenga Sanni’s (OC Ukeje) business.

After the affair ends messily, Dara employs the services of her long time friend Omawumi Horsfall (Somkele Iyamah), a young corporate lawyer with no court experience to fight her case. With Funlayo Johnson opposing her at every turn, Omawumi must fight to prove Dara’s case and get her the justice she feels she deserves.

Directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, the movie takes the audience on a journey of love, betrayal, workplace politics, self-confidence and loyalty. The business-love gone sour was written by Chinaza Onuzo and produced by Chinaza Onuzo, Omotayo Adeola and Zulu Oyibo. Other key cast members include Beverly Naya, Gregory Ojefua, and Lota Chukwu.
