Speaking with The Guardian, the OAP explained that the stage play attempts to narrate his success story from the outset, adding that it explores the challenges faced by the average Nigerian youth who believes in the Lagos dream.

He stated that with the use of dramatic elements like suspense, comic relief and a heavy dose of musical explorations, the play aims at inspiring and encouraging the average Nigerian youth to aim towards success regardless of his/her discipline.

The play, which is being powered by Adron Homes, will be staged on Sunday, October 13, at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos. It will be split into two shows, with the first billed for 3 pm and the second at 7 pm.

The Warri, Delta State-born, is a thespian with an uncommon taste for theatre, arts, and storytelling. Warri to Lagos, the Musical, is a fusion of his exceptional passion for music and comedy laced with a knack for telling the Nigerian story from the eyes of a Warri boy.
