PEFTI expands, opens Ibadan campus

Poised to actualising its objective of being physically present across country to thoroughly cater to the needs of millions of young people desirous of making impact in the entertainment industry, the management of the award-winning and globally acclaimed PEFTI Film Institute has announced that beginning from October 1, this year a PEFTI Campus would be opened in the ancient city of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Poised to actualising its objective of being physically present across country to thoroughly cater to the needs of millions of young people desirous of making impact in the entertainment industry, the management of the award-winning and globally acclaimed PEFTI Film Institute has announced that beginning from October 1, this year a PEFTI Campus would be opened in the ancient city of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Speaking on the development, the Managing Director of Film Institute, Abiola Adenuga said, “Ever since PEFTI was birthed in 2004, it had always been one of our objectives to be physically present across Nigeria to be able to thoroughly cater to the needs of millions of young people desirous of making impact in the entertainment industry.

“However, this expansion had to wait until certain necessary things were put in place. Now, we are finally ready and our new campus at Ibadan is going to change the face of entertainment in Oyo State, its environs, and Nigeria as a whole,” she added

Adenuga explained that Ibadan is in for a treat, stressing that PEFTI Film Institute is fully accredited by the Federal Ministry of Education to offer a two-year National Diploma in Film and TV Production, Performing and Media Arts, and Music Technology.

According to her, the institution also offers three and six-month professional practical training in Script Writing, Acting and Presentation, Cinematography, Music Studio Production, Directing, and Editing.
