Peter Okoye still not in talking terms with brothers

The fight among the Okoye brothers (Peter, Paul and Jude Engees) looks far from being over following one of the brother’s (Peter) recent revelation that he is still not in talking terms with elder brother, Jude Engees, and he is not going to be beating around the bush about it

Mr P made this known during an interview with Cool FM on Wednesday, April 24. “I’m always going to wish him the best of his life like me. I don’t have any problem with anybody but if they really have any problem with me, its fine, I’m living my life. Paul insults my wife and kids then expect me to perform with him,” he said when asked if they talk now.

Recalled that the Okoye brothers have been at war with each other since 2017, and it is said to have been one of the biggest celebrity fights recorded in the Nigerian music industry. From shading to actually insulting each other on social media, it has been one messy scandal that has rocked the entertainment industry.

Peter and Paul, both members of defunct two-man group, PSquare, have been at loggerheads for over two years now. While the former confirms he is not talking to big brother Jude, the latter responds to twin brother’s accusation of insulting his family.

Meanwhile, Paul, who is also known as Rudeboy, while granting an interview with a radio station last year, gave a very diplomatic answer when he asked about his twin brother’s accusation.

“These are sensitive questions and the fact that it is sensitive there are ways you will say it and the way you people will just create news out of it. The way you people are lost about this issue is the same way I am seeing the issue too.

“Just understand this, it is not good for me, it is not good for anybody yes people will tell you that they have been hearing one side of the story and they want to hear my own side of the story, I am not giving anybody any story. I always say this I didn’t work hard for twenty years to destroy stuff like that, ok, I don’t know, to be honest with you, I don’t know,” he said.

In an interview with a Kenyan television station, Citizen TV last year, Mr P said his twin brother will insult his wife and family at will in public and expect a performance with him without even an apology.

“I don’t disrespect my brother’s wife neither, his family but he does that to me all the time. He will insult me and my family in public, on Instagram and the next minute he will wait for me backstage for us to perform together. No now, it can work; I vowed to protect and love my wife and family,” he said.

The music star during the interview, also responded to the allegation leveled against him by Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz. He revealed that he doesn’t even have an idea of what the allegations are all about, adding that he is not bothered and won’t be dwelling on it, rather, he wants to concentrate on making good music.

“To be honest with you, I do not know what they are talking about. I can never, and would never say anything. Please, I have a new single, and I do not want to get distracted. I do not want to comment on Diamond’s allegations.

“In fact, it is stupid. Once people discover that you are doing well, the devil just finds a way of rearing its ugly head. Nonetheless, we are friends with Diamond Platnumz; he is my guy,” he said.

Diamond Platnumz had said his former partner and baby mama, Zari Hassan of cheating on him with Peter Okoye. He made this known during an interview with a Tanzanian radio station.

However, the woman in the eyes of the storm, Zari, has come out to deny the cheating allegations leveled against her. In a video that has now gone viral, she debunked the rumours of having an affair with Mr P. She went on to make a very strange and unexpected statement by placing a curse on the kids she has with the music star if she ever had an affair.
