And Davido Fires Cheap Shot…
Not until Afro pop star Davido came on Twitter (now X) to accuse a young man in Osun State, simply identified as Ifedolapo, of solicitation (begging actually), nobody knew what had transpired between them in the secret.

And what did Ifedolapo do that made Davido to publicly attempt to shame him? He decamped from the political party Davido’s uncle, the Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Adeleke is in, to another party, because according to him, later on a Facebook live video, he did not get a fair deal after doing so much for the party prior to the election that brought in the Governor.

Typical of anyone who left an association in a ‘bad belle’ manner, Ifedolapo started attacking his former party and the Governor on Twitter where he and Davido met and had been interacting when they were both on the same political page.

Irked by the attack on his uncle, Davido revealed how Ifedolapo allegedly was begging him for money prior to his jumping ship to opposition party, in what is no doubt an infantile attempt to shame and shut him up.

However, the young Osun man refused to be shut up. Backed with evidence (screen shots of their private conversations on Twitter), he revealed that he never begged Davido for money, rather, it was the star artiste who asked him to send his account details when he observed his political activities favoured his uncle.

Davido in another message to Ifedolapo(as the chat thread revealed) after Governor Adeleke won the election and post election court cases, promised to prevail on his uncle to give him (Ifedolapo) a political appointment (SSA New Media to the Governor).

Ifedolapo in an over 10 minutes live video explained all what transpired backed with his evidence which all proved Davido did not entirely speak the truth on the issue.

The musician has since deleted his post on X, but the temporary damage to Ifedolapo’s image had been done already. Ironically, none of the things Davido promised Ifedolapo was fulfilled because the young man in the Facebook video challenged the artiste to show proof if he ever sent him the money he promised because chats revealed where Ifedolapo was reminding him about the “money you promised to send me”.

Now, this is T4T’s submission. Anybody should be very wary of doing anything in private with Davido especially asking for his favour(monetary or otherwise). One is surprised that Davido could go so low simply because he had parted ways, politically, with someone and had to accuse him of what did not transpire. It was Davido(as the chat revealed) who asked the young man to send his account details even though money was not being discussed up to that point. His feeble attempt to shame Ifedolapo is disgusting to say the least. He should not have deleted his accusatory post if he was sure of what happened or was he thinking Ifedolapo would just cave in and not respond simply because he is Davido?

And there was something Ifedolapo said that hit the right spot in that live video. He said he was not a rich person, in fact, he was struggling, but he has self dignity and even if he had begged Davido for money, that should not be a big deal because they do not belong to the same level,  financially, but that never happened, so that was a cheap shot fired by Davido.

May life never push anyone to solicit for assistance from people that will later attempt to use it against them!
Abel Damina’s Ruffling Feathers

A POPULAR pastor, well, he is actually a preacher, Dr. Abel Damina has been ruffling the feathers of his colleague pastors especially the ones who believe that one must pay them money (tithe) before God would bless him-prosperity Pentecostalism.

He has taken on almost all the big ‘men of God’ in Nigeria and across the world even without mentioning their names and they always fight back and mention his name.

They call him all sorts of unprintable names, which he laughs off in his replies; some even threaten him with violence and death. Damina has a thick skin, no dart thrown at him penetrates but when he fires back, the subject will always cry the loudest in a video response. Online, it has become an unending video series for many who wait to see who Damina will take to the cleaners and the person’s reply.

Recently, he decided to fire at a popular pastor who in an old video during COVID-19 lockdown boastfully told his congregation how he bought his third private jet, and never wanted the pandemic to end, because it was in his favour. He said he told his wife life was so sweet.

Damina did not spare him for what he termed his insensitivity to his church members and the world groaning from the effects of the pandemic then. The man of God did not like what Damina said, so, in another video recently, he tried to explain what he actually meant in that old video.

He said he was giving an illustration to his church members on how COVID-19 period favoured some people and not what many interpreted from what he said. Nice explanation man of God, we hear you sir! You no say many of us nor go school, so we nor dey too understand English especially from men of God again. Ride on Papa!
