T4T has been following the back and forth exchanges between two top Nigerian comedians, Ayo Makun(AY) and Bright Okpocha aka Basket Mouth. It was AY who drew first blood when he revealed that the refusal of Basket Mouth to pay him '30k for a show he stood in for him', over 15 years ago, created the deep void in their friendship.

Time for AY, Basket Mouth to MOVE ON!
T4T has been following the back-and-forth exchanges between two top Nigerian comedians, Ayo Makun(AY) and Bright Okpocha aka Basket Mouth. It was AY who drew first blood when he revealed that the refusal of Basket Mouth to pay him ’30k for a show he stood in for him’, over 15 years ago, created the deep void in their friendship.

Basket Mouth some days ago replied and claimed AY lied, and that he actually paid him the disputed amount. He added that despite being colleagues, they were not ‘friends’.

T4T was privileged to be in the middle of the careers of the two comedians when they started out. At a point, for years, there was no night T4T was not hanging out with either of them at the celebrity restaurant, O’jez, inside the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos and other spots too, before they both became RICH and bought a house (houses) in millionaires playground, Lekki. So, this petty bickering does not sit down well with some folks who knew the duo from their hustling days.

Now, this is a ‘command’ to AY and Basket from someone who they used to respect a whole lot back then before they became RICH! Sheath your swords and MOVE ON! Na women we sabi say dey do dis kain tin una two dey do so. How can two rich, big boys, be bickering like women selling tomatoes in Oshodi market?

SAD: Police have not learnt from #EndSARS…
It is heartbreaking to know that men and officers of the Nigeria Police Force did not learn any lesson from the nationwide anti police riots tagged #EndSARS in October of 2020.

Nigerians took to the streets in a violent manner to protest against perceived police brutality of the now disbanded Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, which deviated from its responsibilities and became a terror to innocent citizens they were formed to protect. There is no need to recall the days of rage that culminated into loss of lives and property worth trillions of naira.

Almost three years after the disbanding of SARS, police officers are still brutalising, extorting monies from Nigerians. Now, there is no specific police outfit to blame, all policemen are involved in this act of violations of the rights of innocent Nigerians.

The video that went viral on Tuesday broke the hearts of many. The policeman was slapping this young man in the presence of his wife! His wife! There is nothing as degrading as a fellow man slapping you in the presence of your wife and because that person has a loaded rifle (bought with tax payer’s money), you were too scared to return a slap!

Well, the Rivers State Police command, in a statement by its Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, claimed that the command had identified the erring officer and his team and has ordered their arrest. One hopes the case will not be treated as a ‘paddy paddy’ one because as you are reading this piece now, there are over a thousand policemen, especially on Benin-Ore Expressway, slapping and extorting monies from hapless Nigerians.

That Peak Ad
In last year’s Easter celebrations, a bank launched an ad where it described Jesus as having ‘risen like Agege bread’. It caused an uproar. This year’s Easter celebrations, makers of Peak milk decided to take a cue from what happened last year and did theirs.

With picture of a battered tin of the milk, the offending caption alluded to how Jesus was battered, but later rose from the grave.

Christians, naturally, should find this ad very offensive and disgusting, but that is where their reactions will end. The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, had issued a statement condemning the ad.

That is where it will end also. What T4T awaits is the reaction of the regulatory body in charge of advertisements.

What I will advise these brands trying to gain the attention of religious folks is simple. Just try and use that other religion (name withheld) take do dis kain mumu advertisements and wait for the reactions of their believers.

T4T nor talk pass like dat!

Time to arrest that Prankster (3)
This is perhaps the third time that T4T is calling on the Nigeria Police to bring this particular prankster that goes by the name, @iamtrinityguy, in for proper cautioning before he commits murder. His pranks are taking more dangerous dimensions as the day goes by.

From physically assaulting young girls, which his morality has convinced him are dressing ‘indecently’, he has now delved into showing victims of his pranks a toy gun which looks very real.

T4T saw his latest prank released during the week and was petrified! The prankster cornered a woman who looked like one coming from religious worship centre and in the course of the prank, showed her a toy gun and asked her to kneel down. The terrified woman knelt, while crying and begging for mercy. Out of fear, she gave out the 1,500 cash she had on her and her ATM card. She even volunteered to go and withdraw the cash for him…T4T could no longer stand the prank.

Again, T4T is calling on the police to rein this fella in before he ignorantly kills someone who has a weak heart, in the name of pranking. What he is doing is no longer called a prank. He is now a full-blown domestic terrorist!
