In today’s fast-paced digital world, advertisers are constantly looking for ways to advertise smarter, not harder. Traditional advertising methods are evolving rapidly, and with the advent of Web3 technologies, new and innovative solutions are reshaping the advertising landscape. One such innovation is AdMoni, a groundbreaking advertising platform that is changing the way businesses engage with audiences.
The Managing Director of AdMoni, Tintin Imevbore, said the platform has quickly established itself as a disruptive force in Nigeria’s advertising ecosystem. AdMoni is not just another advertising platform—it’s a smart tool that benefits both advertisers and users in a way that hasn’t been seen before.
The Founder/CEO, AdMoni, Emmanuel Oluoha, disclosed that AdMOni’s journey began 3-4 years ago, with a vision to create a platform that would revolutionize the way digital advertising works. According to him, getting the technology right took time, and it wasn’t without its challenges. However, through perseverance and collaboration with local Nigerian developers, AdMoni was able to develop and perfect the technology, he stated.
According to him, one of the first significant tests of the platform came during the Edo State elections, where the system was used to target voters with political messaging. “This proof of concept demonstrated the platform’s potential to engage a specific audience with precision, marking a key moment in AdMoni’s development.
“We started testing the platform in Edo State during the elections, which helped us fine-tune the system. We learned a lot about how to target users effectively and how to manage data responsibly.”
Today, AdMOni boasts a user base of nearly 300,000 users and has perfected its advertising technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The company has positioned itself as a sustainable, smart advertising tool for businesses of all sizes.
AdMOni’s platform works by offering users rewards in the form of tokens for watching advertisements. Unlike traditional advertising methods, where users are passive recipients of ads, AdMoni turns advertising into an interactive experience. Users who register on the platform can watch ads, and in return, earn tokens that can be used for various services, such as buying data, paying for electricity, or even purchasing airtime.
The integration of Web3 technology plays a significant role in this system. With Web3, the focus is on the monetization of data and rewarding users for engaging with the content. This shift is part of a broader trend where individuals are gaining more control over their data and are increasingly compensated for sharing it.
“We live in an era where data is king. Web3 is about rewarding people for their data,” explains Imevbore. “When users interact with ads on our platform, they are not just consuming content—they are also monetizing their data and getting something in return.”
This unique approach has made AdMoni particularly appealing to advertisers. The platform allows advertisers to precisely target their audience based on factors such as location, age, gender, and more. The ability to target users with such accuracy is invaluable, especially when considering the vast and diverse Nigerian market.
One of the standout features of AdMoni is its geotargeting functionality. Advertisers can select specific locations where they want their ads to appear, ensuring that only relevant users are targeted. For example, a supermarket in Surulere, Lagos, can advertise exclusively to people who live or work in that area.
“It’s all about precision. If you’re a business owner in Yaba, for example, you can target people who are physically in that area and have downloaded the app,” says Oluoha. “This makes it easy for advertisers to focus their marketing efforts on the people who are most likely to convert into customers,” he added.
Moreover, the platform provides advertisers with detailed analytics that show how many people have viewed and interacted with their ads. This level of transparency is often lacking in traditional advertising, where metrics such as audience engagement and conversion rates can be hard to track.
AdMoni is designed to be a win-win for both advertisers and users. While advertisers get the opportunity to target their ideal audience more effectively, users are incentivized to engage with ads by earning tokens, which can be converted into real-world rewards.
“When you watch an ad, you’re not just consuming content passively; you’re participating in a system that rewards you,” says Oluoha. “And as the platform grows, the value of those rewards can increase, offering even more benefits to users.”
