It’s no longer news that Afrobeats superstar, Asake has abruptly cancelled his highly anticipated concert at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California, United States, which was scheduled for Sunday, September 6, as part of his ongoing In God We Trust international tour to support his latest album, M$NEY.

The news, however, is that the development has cut one date from the ongoing world tour, leaving many fans on the West Coast disappointed and without explanation. The show was called off just days before the event.

Ticket holders learned of the cancellation through an automated notice rather than any statement from the singer himself nor his team. “Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled. The Asake In God We Trust show at The Greek Theatre on Sunday, September 6, 2026 has been cancelled,” the message read.

Organisers assured ticket holders that full refunds would be processed automatically to the original payment cards within five business days, with an additional two to three days required for the funds to reflect in customers’ accounts and no further action from intending buyers.
