Well known for his high-energy performances, infectious beats, and ability to get audiences moving on the dancefloor, DJ Dynamiite is out on the road with NSG, a British afroswing group, on their ‘Roots’ Canadian tour this spring.

The tour kicked off on March 18 with the rap collective rousing their audience with hit tunes at the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre in downtown Winnipeg. The group went on to Calgary, Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto, where DJ Dynamiite played alongside the squad at packed theatres and venues, leaving the crowd wanting more after each show. His signature sound combines traditional afrobeats with contemporary sounds, creating a unique blend that complements the group’s diverse audience.

DJ Dynamiite’s passion for engaging with different cultures made the tour a celebration of the Canadian international music scene. Popularly known as the crowd controller, the multi-genre disk jockey has the best time at a show when he can get “up close and personal with the crowd.” The event in Calgary was one of the highlights of the tour for him as he interacted more with the audience, did temperature checks and ensured every culture in the theatre was represented.

The Canadian-based Nigerian DJ is no stranger to sold-out shows and concerts. He shared the stage at The Opera House in Toronto with Adekunle Gold and toured America alongside BNXN FKA Buju, amongst several others.

Accompanied by DJ Dynamiite’s unrivaled disk jockeying skills on the NSG tour, the crowd sang word-for-word the group’s biggest hits including ‘Options” and ‘OT Bop’, making each show a one-of-a-kind experience.

DJ Dynamiite’s success on the NSG tour is a testament to the growing popularity of afro-fusion in Canada. He’s set to tour more cities this year with household names in the industry as he continues to use his platform to shed light on other talented artists and export afrobeats to every corner of the globe.
