Enters Realonyechi with The Boss
Fast rising music prodigy, Ndibunwa Onyinyechukwu Emmanuel, who is known professionally as Realonyechi, has released his first body of work, The Boss, an extended play (EP), which was well received with a few of the tracks featuring on Apple Music and Deezer playlists.
Prior to the project compilation, the Anambra-born youngster had initially dropped two tracks, Lolo his debut single and Natasha, a follow up showcased his singing and music production abilities and went on to occupy number one (No. 1) spot on the Nigerian iTunes Chart.
In recognition of his talent, the rising star in 2019 was awarded the Most Promising Songwriter of the Year at the CFA Awards. Though 18 years old, he is undeterred by the intense competition in the industry as he has all it takes to excel.
“The Boss is my first body of work and I’d like to present it as a gift to my fans. There is a song for every mood and situation. It also serves as a soothing balm for those who have experienced some form of desolation especially in this COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
Reaonyechi further reveals that the project, which has other songs like Ashake, Addicted, Rocksatr and The Boss was released in October, and it cuts across different genres as he calls his musical style ‘uncaged’ and across different styles.
Exuding great confidence about his work, the singer says “it is an EP with a song for everyone irrespective of their musical taste.”
Born November 25, 2001, he is the first child of five children. A self-taught music producer who started learning production at home in 2018, his artistic prowess transcends music.
Formerly a digital artist, he won the Nigerian Teen Choice Awards Visual Artist of the Year in 2018. He is currently a Student of Physiology in the University of Lagos College of Medicine, Idi Araba.
