A former business manager of late reggae legend, Majek Fashek, Omenka Uzoma Day aka Uzo, has said he is working assiduously to shut down the famous 02 Arena in London. The CEO of Miracle Day Music, who recently returned from a tour of Istanbul, Turkey and South Africa, is already preparing for another round of tours in England.

Speaking on his plans, he said: “First, I want to thank my fans and that of Majek Fashek for their support. We have a lot of artistes such as Acho, Shade Andrews, Peter De Rock Uwaifo, among others coming out soon, even King Wadada who won a Kora award was once on my label.”

He said that after the death of Fashek, he decided to take the bull by the horns to give his fans good music, and live performances.

“This year, I went to Turkey, then to South Africa for a video shoot. I have also been to England. London seems to be an open door for a lot of Nigerian artistes, because someone like Wizkid shut down O2 for three days; Burna Boy and Davido have opened the door for more Nigerian artistes to hone their trade to a universal audience. This time, it is going to be my turn.

“I will be touring Oxford, London city, Birmingham, Leicester, and Colchester. My tour begins from the end of May down to June and so on with other related activities in-between. I still have a lot of video shoots to do, like Mama video, part of which was shot in the UK. One People, which I dedicated to the human race, is also there,” he hinted.
