Nwaobori Happy, known musically as GTS 40k has grown in leaps and bounds, traversing different stages of life before finding his calling as a musician, who has come to find his feet staunchly rooted in the Nigerian music landscape.

According to the singer, life might have presented itself in many ways and colors, but he knew what he always wanted to do was music. Although the journey may have been long and trying, the singer is happy he is finally where he is supposed to be.

“I have always dreamnt of being a rapper. This was my aspiration from childhood having listened and influenced by top American rappers. I can confidently say I’m living my childhood dreams now.

“I do Hip-Hop and R&B and I love my genre because it gives me joy. It’s something I have always wanted to do since I was a child. I have gone through many challenges but never deterred from following my passion,” he said.

GTS 40k was born in Asaba, Delta State into the Nwaobori family. He is the last born of four siblings

He grew up in Asaba. Delta State, where he attended Excellent Primary School. After his primary education. He attended Umutu mixed Secondary School.

GTS 40k has been able to infuse different elements of good music into his Hip-Hop and R&B style, clearly carving a different signature for himself that differentiates him from every other artists out there.

“Music can be analysed by considering a variety of its elements, or characteristics, individually or together. A common used list of the main elements includes pitch, timbre, texture, volume, duration, and form. The elements of music may be compared to the elements of art or design. My music is my identity and I’m very different from others,” he states

GTS 40’s songs can be accessed on all digital platforms as they have variously enjoyed rave reviews.

” I have got a lot of songs on the online music streaming platforms available and the reviews so far, have been a motivating one for me, ” he says.

The singer is signed to his own record label known as GTS 40k Entertainment.
