‘My mandate is to preach the gospel through my songs’
With several albums credited to her, including Odogwu (The Great One), a collaborative effort with Patricia King of Midnight Crew and Pastor Dolly, the gospel act has re-emphasized the importance of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ through her songs.
According to her, preaching the gospel and advocating peace in Nigeria is her core assignment and true commitment, as her songs, which are divinely inspired, are often delivered in a mixture of Yoruba and her Igbo dialects.
Some of her current videos include: Chinoso featuring A’DAM; His Grace featuring Righteous man, Nso Nso (Holy Holy) and Onyenwem (My Creator).
Speaking recently during her TV programme, Vivid View, the gospel singer enumerated the achievements recorded with regard to impacting the right values in the youth that will correct their attitude and behavioural lifestyle.
She added that since inception of the programme, youths are been informed and transformed with entrepreneurial skills, investment benefits and patriotism among others.
“I am committed and unwavering because I know who called me. I am not in a competition with anyone, I sing as I’m led or directed. I thank God that I have been used by him, to reach out to many and edify the souls of men through the grace at work in me,” she said.
On her commitment towards youth development and empowerment, her media manager, Steve Akpos, said “Ehiliz is a blessing to this generation and she impacted on the lives of people tremendously in diverse ways.”
He added that one of the things that give her joy is her love for the work of God.
“Ehiliz is a faithful gospel minister of God who derives joy majorly in edifying the souls of men through her inspired songs ministration. Her charismatic dispositions have embraced the aspirations of Nigerian youths as well as boosting their productivity in their respective fields of endeavour. Her well-deserved reputation has endeared her to international accolades,” Akpos stated.
