AS the first episode of Etisalat-Sponsored Nigerian Idol season 5 took the nation by storm last weekend, viewers were delighted to have their favourite music reality show back on TV, thanks to the good, bad and ugly talents Benin had in stock.

With their appetites whetted by the exciting opener, episode 2 promises to have viewers glued to their seats as it unravels the burgeoning musical talent in Nigeria and lovers of the reality show will again savour the chemistry amongst the judges: the brutally honest Dede Mabiaku, the Subtle Yinka Davies and the ever re-assuring Dare Art Alade.

As the second episode airs today, viewers and audiences will be treated to a recap of the astonishing moments from the Port Harcourt audition.

Commenting on the show, Head, Events & Sponsorships, Etisalat Nigeria, Modupe Thani says contestants in the Nigerian Idol are currently being prepared for the live stage performance phase when the Judges get to evaluate their ability to perform before a live audience.

“Tonight, we have packaged key moments from the Port Harcourt audition for the viewing delight of the audience at home. We believe our audience have the right to know what happened at each location during the audition before the stage performances begin and we definitely do not want to deny them of this right,” Thani disclosed.

Indeed, there are loads of excitements in store. So, tonight, viewers at home should get ready for a great time, as the fun never ends on Nigerian Idol show.

Tonight’s show is scheduled to air on NTA by 3:30pm; STV, Superscreen TV, Cool TV and Wap TV by 9pm and on Hip TV by 4pm.
