Harmonious singer-songwriter Nissi Ogulu, professionally known as Nissi, has announced the release of the music video for her recently released single, Higher. The music video takes viewers on a journey through a kaleidoscope of emotions, weaving together a powerful and mesmerising audio-visual experience.
The director, Oluwatomisin Okeowo, well known as “MRMTMMG,” skillfully combines striking imagery and evocative scenes to create a visual narrative that perfectly complements the song’s lyrical depth.
The central theme of Higher revolves around staying strong and pushing beyond limitations by living life to the fullest. It is an anthem of self-belief, resilience, and reaching for one’s dreams.
Drawing from her personal experiences, Nissi through the lyrics of the song encourages listeners to embrace the different stages of life while being hardworking.
Sharing her thoughts on the song earlier with The Guardian, the stylish singer said: “This song is a song of strength to celebrate the human spirit, an anthem for anyone who has ever dared to dream and pushed beyond their limits. I want listeners to feel empowered and inspired to rise above any obstacles that they may face in life. Higher represents my journey, and I hope it resonates with others as well.”
