Papaya Ex gifts car to lucky fan to celebrate career milestone

Amid the flurry of events that floated through social media last week, Raheem Abike, popularly known as Papaya Ex, was one name that caught a lot of attention. With the beauty and fashion social media influencer, it was yet another cascade of intrigues, as hundreds of young Nigerians gathered at an open field, in the Lekki axis of Lagos, with hopes of emerging winner of the brand new Lexus saloon car she gifted out to celebrate her milestone of garnering one million followers on Instagram. 

The gifting took place during a trade fair, which she organised for the same purpose, drawing her counterparts in the industry such as Pretty Mike of Lagos, Skuki, Isbae, Yhemo Lee, Ash Musy, among others, to the event. 

Tears of joy flowed freely among the mammoth crowd of youth as Papaya Ex randomly dashed out several brand new Iphones to the fans gathered at the stage.

Prior to the event, Papaya Ex had taken to Instagram to announce, “2020, 40 thousand followers.

2022, I’m celebrating 1 million followers. It feels so emotional, because I know how hard and focused I am towards my work. I’ll be giving out a Lexus car and iPhones to lucky people on Sunday, to appreciate the support so far because honestly without you all, no big paps one way or the other. A big thank you to everyone. I wish you all the good things of life and all you wish me.”
