Lawrence Emmanuel (MON), the CEO of Promiseland Estates, alongside his family and 20 top-performing staff, recently concluded a refreshing Christmas and New Year vacation across several South African cities. The trip, a reward for the staff’s exceptional performance in meeting their ₦500 million sales target, highlighted Emmanuel’s commitment to recognising and motivating excellence within his team.
Emmanuel, a renowned philanthropist and youth advocate, was accompanied by his wife, Gift Emmanuel, and their children. The family departed Abuja shortly before Christmas, with a brief stop in Lagos to enjoy its serene spots before heading to South Africa.
The choice of South Africa for the vacation aligned with Emmanuel’s vision of fostering stronger ties between Nigeria and South Africa, particularly in light of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, which aims to maximise the strengths of both nations.
During their stay, the group explored South Africa’s vibrant tourism scene. They began in Johannesburg, moving on to Cape Town, where they lodged at the DoubleTree Hotel and later at the Lagoon Beach Hotel near the coastline. Activities included a boat cruise, visits to Victoria Wharf and the Cape Wheel, and ample time to enjoy the beaches.
Returning to Johannesburg after their Cape Town adventures, the group relished the rejuvenation offered by South Africa’s scenic landscapes and warm hospitality before heading back to Lagos.
A Year of Achievements
The vacation marked a celebratory end to a year of significant milestones for Promiseland Estates. Under Emmanuel’s leadership, the company expanded its real estate footprint, establishing state-of-the-art smart estates across Abuja. Promiseland Estates has garnered recognition for delivering modern, affordable housing and creating numerous employment opportunities within the housing value chain.
Emmanuel has consistently championed the importance of decent housing in promoting health and well-being, a vision that drives his philanthropic efforts. Through the Promiseland Foundation, he has provided relief materials to vulnerable communities, including food and essentials.
In December 2024, during his birthday celebrations, Emmanuel extended support to local communities, while his wife, Gift Emmanuel, distributed millions of naira in relief materials as part of her own birthday celebrations in September.
Promiseland Estates remains one of Abuja’s most prominent real estate firms, combining excellence in housing provision with a commitment to societal betterment.
