Sean Dampte steps out with Lagos friday 

It was an exciting experience as popular music sensation, Oluyole Oluwaseun, better acclaimed as Sean Dampte, hosted a mix of music lovers and executives in Nigeria to the listening party for his latest body of work dubbed, Lagos Friday, London Monday. 

The star-studded event was co-hosted by Manny Bells of The Uprise Show and Kemz of Gist With Kemz on @talknvibe as the songs were previewed with Dampte giving backstories into the project. 

The album itself, which ensembles Sean Dampte’s lavish lifestyle, is an ode to the flamboyance of luxurious lifestyles within the two popular megacities of Lagos and London. 

Sean Dampte, who has carved a niche as being a lifestyle influencer – as his music typically serenades the euphemistic perspectives of life – bares his impressive singing abilities above mid-tempo to upbeat instrumentals on this album.

It is essentially a groovy soundtrack that spins off a feel-good mood. 

The listening party hosted in London, was also a success. Several UK Afrobeats industry honchos such as Smade, Adesope Olajide, popularly known as Shopsydoo, Tola Onigbanjo (WiseTola), Homebased, Don Crucifixto, were in attendance.
