With “Prophet Suddenly 3,” The Winlos Merge Film, Faith to challenge modern church

Renowned Nigerian Christian drama duo, The Winlos—comprising Anwinli and Ohis Ojeikere—have released the latest installment of their acclaimed “Prophet Suddenly” film series, titled “Prophet Suddenly 3: The Music Minister.” Known for their compelling fusion of drama, theology, and prophetic insight, The Winlos continue to reshape global Christian storytelling through cinema.

Their new film tackles urgent issues within the Church, particularly the tension between spiritual calling and the commercialization of ministry. Set against the backdrop of the music ministry, the movie delves into themes of sanctification, divine alignment, fame, and spiritual fatherhood.

“The inspiration for this film came from a divine burden God gave us,” said Reverend Ohis Ojeikere. “It’s not just about music ministers. It’s a message for every arm of ministry being tempted by ego, greed, and misalignment.”

Prophet Suddenly 3 stars Ohis Ojeikere in the lead role, and also features guest appearances from Pastor Lawrence Oyor and Prophet Joel Ogebe—two respected spiritual voices in the music ministry space. Their involvement, according to the filmmakers, was guided by divine instruction rather than strategy.

“God instructed us to involve them—not just for their talent, but for the spiritual weight they carry. Their presence brought a deep sense of authenticity and an atmosphere of God’s presence on set,” said Anwinli Ojeikere.

Having previously stirred global conversations with their viral skit “God Told Me To Marry You” and the original Prophet Suddenly, The Winlos are no strangers to both acclaim and criticism. The couple shared that their bold storytelling often attracts backlash, especially from those whose practices are challenged by their message.

“We’ve received criticism, yes—but we’ve also received thousands of testimonies,” Ohis noted. “The backlash is the 1%. The other 99% are stories of deliverance, conviction, and transformation.”

This latest project arrives at a time when debates about the role of music ministers—particularly around charging fees for ministration—are at an all-time high. Yet, The Winlos insist the timing was not intentional.

“We started writing this in November last year,” Ohis clarified. “That it’s resonating now is just evidence that it’s heaven’s timing.”

As pastors, filmmakers, and faith influencers, The Winlos see themselves not just as storytellers but as prophetic voices called to awaken the Church through the power of cinema.

“Our films are not entertainment for entertainment’s sake,” Anwinli said. “We wait on God, listen to His heart, and tell stories that challenge, correct, and restore.”

Prophet Suddenly 3: The Music Minister is now available for viewing on digital platforms and at select screenings worldwide.

The Winlos, made up of Ohis and Anwinli Ojeikere, are Nigeria’s most influential Christian drama duo, with a global following across YouTube, social media, and faith-based platforms. Through skits, films, and prophetic teachings, they have inspired a generation of believers to embrace holiness, purpose, and relevance in ministry.
