The Nigeria Police authorities should stop what T4T would describe as these unnecessary reactionary actions to every little incident.

Nigeria police, Be Calming Down, And VDM Too!
The Nigeria Police authorities should stop what T4T would describe as these unnecessary reactionary actions to every little incident. Small thing, fiam, police PRO don issue statement like say person commit treason.

Days ago, Martins Otse, popularly called VeryDarkBlackMan, Internet social crusader who now wishes to be called ‘Social Media Policeman’, wore a police uniform, or what looked like one, in a video online where he was announcing his new title and fiam, police authorities have issued a statement threatening to ‘investigate’ his actions as if im commit murder.
Read extract of the statement:
Nigeria Police condemns unlawful use of police uniforms by content creators. As Police Launches Investigation Into Circulating Video By VDM.
The Nigeria Police Force strongly condemns the unauthorized use of official uniforms and accoutrements by an online personality, Mr. Martins Otse, popularly known as “VDM,” in a video posted on his social media platforms.
The Force unequivocally disassociates itself from this unauthorised portrayal and has launched a full investigation to determine the source of the Police gear used, as well as the authority under which he acted.
It is important to remind the public that the unauthorized use of Police uniforms, insignia, or accoutrements constitutes a criminal offense, as stipulated in Section 251 of the Criminal Code Law and Section 133 of the Penal Code Law, and is subject to strict penalties…”
Hollywood stars in America wear uniforms of Policemen, US marines, special forces and even FBI vests in video works daily, heavens have not fallen, but here in Nigeria, the army and police and even ordinary Civil defence Corps are threatening musicians, skit makers and actors with violence for daring to use any of its accoutrements in any video work. Wetin sef? Drama is an imitation of life, an actor and or celebrity cannot claim to be a policeman while wearing a uniform of a mall security guard, how believable would he come across? In most Nigerian movies, the fear of retribution by security agencies has made many producers to make actors wear funny-looking uniforms while claiming to be soldiers or policemen and they cut pathetic figures. Of what harm to the public will a Zack Orji be if he wears the uniform of the IG of police in a movie, not that he goes about driving his car on Lagos streets dressed in it? Abegi! There are bigger security issues to confront oga police.

Unhonourable’ Behaviour Of That Honourable
T4T never knew how serious the issue was until he saw the video where the House of Representatives member, Alex Ikwechegh, flew off the handle and was slapping a delivery man like a slave. Slave traders back in the day nor do reach like dat sef. He demonstrated in that video the kind of power most Nigerian politicians believed they wield over poor Nigerians like us. And to be honest, it was a frightening revelation. Now, imagine if we were still in the ‘dark ages’ of no Internet and the poor guy did not capture all what happened on tape, nobody would have believed him and of course, he would still be in one dingy police cell rotting away for daring to ‘abuse’ an Honourable and respected member of the house. In fact, he would be lucky not to end up in either Kirikiri or Kuje prisons with his family crying all over the country and going to that somewhat over bleached looking young man’s house(that was how he was described by a very angry social media user, not T4T) daily to plead with him to release their ‘son’ from the dungeon he caused him to be dropped in.
Well, he has apologised. T4T read his apology statement. Good for him, but he remains a danger not only to himself but to the society especially anytime he is that HIGH on whatever he appeared HIGH on that day, which could include either power or any other substance. T4T suggests he sees a shrink to talk him out of his world of fantasies and illusions. He is lucky he did that to a ‘poor’ delivery man, if he had met someone like him that day, both of them would be somewhere very far or nearby now.

Aisha Vs Seun: Who Will Settle This Fight For Us?
THE question T4T has been asking whoever cares to listen is, who will help to quench the fire burning in the circle of son of late legendary Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti and activist Aisha Yesufu? Both characters have been aiming deadly verbal missiles at each other for days now and seriously it is getting messier as the days go by. While one should not be surprised by Seun’s utterances(sebi im slap policeman dat year), T4T is a little taken aback that Aisha would be adorn in an Hijab and be saying all what she has been saying on camera. Her husband nor dey advise her?
