Ismaila Ibrahim’s educational journey has taken him through several fields of study, beginning with his early education in Benin City, Edo State, before progressing into petroleum, engineering, energy and business administration.

Born on 23 January 1986 in Edo State, Nigeria, Ibrahim began his education at St. Bridget Primary School in Benin City. He later proceeded to Bishop Ajayi Crowther Memorial College, also in Benin City, where he completed his secondary education.

His early years of education in Benin City provided the foundation for a subsequent academic path that would move beyond general education into technical and professional studies.

After completing secondary school, Ibrahim enrolled at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) in Effurun, Delta State. The institution is known for training personnel in petroleum and related technical fields, and Ibrahim pursued studies in petroleum and energy-related disciplines during his time there.

His decision to undertake petroleum-related training marked the next stage of his education, placing his studies within one of Nigeria’s most important industrial sectors. The training also provided a technical foundation that he later built upon through further university education.

Ibrahim subsequently continued his tertiary education at the University of Port Harcourt, where he pursued studies in engineering and energy-related fields.

His move from technical training at PTI to university-level studies broadened the scope of his academic development. While his earlier education had focused on petroleum and energy-related disciplines, his studies at the University of Port Harcourt extended into engineering and related areas.

The academic path did not end with technical and engineering education. Ibrahim later turned his attention towards business and management, adding another dimension to his professional training.

He obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales, United Kingdom.

The postgraduate qualification represented a shift from the technical focus of his earlier education towards business administration and management. It also gave his academic background an international component, following his earlier studies in Nigeria.
