Nigeria’s Super Eagles are among the top five teams with the most match tickets sold so far ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire.

This was revealed by Confederation of African Football (CAF) on their X handle on Thursday, 28 December 2023.

The other teams also in the top five are hosts Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, and Senegal.

The ticket for the Eagles and Côte d’Ivoire Group A matchday two game is 12544.

Other games with best selling match tickets are Côte d’Ivoire against Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea vs Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea vs Côte d’Ivoire.

Also, Mozambique vs Ghana, Senegal vs Cameroon, Guinea vs The Gambia, and Egypt vs Ghana are listed.

The Super Eagles are gunning for a fourth AFCON title after last winning the tournament in 2013 in South Africa.

At the 2021 edition in Cameroon, Nigeria only reached the round of 16 where they lost 1-0 to Tunisia.
