Algeria coach George Leekens has added five more players to the Les Fennecs squad for the Fifa 2018 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

The Belgian has called up goalkeepers Malik Asselah from local side JS Kabyile and MO Bejaia’s Chemseddine Rahmani to compete with first choice Rais M’bohli.

Also included are Sofianne Hanni of Anderlecht [below] and Jean Mehdi Tahrat from French Ligue 1 side Angers SC while Mohammed KHoutir of Entente Setif and Houari Ferjani of JS Kabyile – both defenders – make up the list.

Sofianne Hanni will replace the crocked Adam Ounas who recently switched allegiance to Algeria from France and was getting his first call up to the Algeria squad.

Algeria will travel to Nigeria for a Match Day Two encounter with the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on November 12.
