Ambode, Obiano, Dalung others for Bunubunu Sports/Culture award

Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung, Governors Akinwunmi Ambode and Willy Obiano, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Atlanta ‘96 Olympic Games gold medalist, ASP Chioma Ajunwa-Opara, Managing Director of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe and business mongol, Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah are among prominent Nigerians billed to be honoured at the second edition of the Bunubunu Sports and Culture Award slated for Saturday, February, 2, 2019.

Others include the Chairman Cubana Group, Obi  Iyiegbu, Adamawa North Zone Senatorial Candidate, Saleh Michika Muluk and  Yusuf Ali, who is the Managing Director, Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

President of Bunubunu Culture and Sporting Company Limited, Izuchukwu Udegbunam revealed that stakeholders who distinguished themselves in sports and cultural development would be celebrated in the night of glitz and glamour at Cubana Lagos, Victoria Island, a few hours after the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.

“For us at Bunubunu Sports and Culture that have athletes in Nigeria and abroad, there is no better time to appreciate and fully honour those doing extremely well. We want to honour and showcase their unparalleled involvement in sports and culture with stars from the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon. 

“It is our own way of saying a big thank you to active participants in the field of sports and culture,” said the Bunubunu boss, who listed Ethiopian Airline, Sir Emmanuel Osita Ojukwu, president Nigeria and All Africa Community in China, President General of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr Rafiu Ladipo, National Chairman, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, Africa Youth Sports Ambassador, Desmond Asomba (Odogwu Nepe Mpe) and Secretary, Nigeria University Games, Bola Oredele, as others to be honoured also.
