Bamidele Adeniyi joins Rangers International on two-year deal

Former MFM FC goalkeeper, Bamidele Adeniyi, has officially joined the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) champions, Rangers International FC of Enugu, ahead of the upcoming NPFL season.

The 20-year-old, born on September 14, 2001, signed a two-year contract with Rangers following successful negotiations. Bamidele had an impressive stint with MFM FC last season, making 19 appearances and recording seven clean sheets.

At Rangers, he will compete for the coveted number one jersey alongside seasoned goalkeepers Nana Bonsu, Femi Thomas, and Mutawakilu Seidu.

Bamidele was widely regarded as one of the standout goalkeepers in the NPFL last season, thanks to his exceptional diving abilities and lightning-fast reflexes. He has a remarkable knack for saving penalties, often reacting swiftly to deflections and short-range shots.

In addition to his shot-stopping prowess, Bamidele is strong in aerial duels, showing confidence when claiming crosses and commanding his area with authority. His vocal presence on the pitch ensures his defenders stay alert and well-organised, making him a reliable leader in the backline.
