Chelsea have completed the signing of former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri as their new manager.

The 59-year-old Italian signed a three-year deal for the premier league club.

“I am very happy to be coming to
Chelsea and the Premier League. It is an exciting new period in my career,” Sarri told ChelseaFC.com

Chelsea announced Antonio Conte departure on Friday after failing to lead Chelsea to Champions League next season.

Sarri began his managerial career in 2000, starting with several low-tier clubs.

In 2005, Sarri entered the second-highest division in Italy, working for Serie B side Pescara.

Sarri failed to win the league title for Napoli, but helped the club finish second twice and third once in the last 3 seasons.
