Eko Club National Squash Championship debuts today

The maiden edition of the Eko Club National U-16/U-19 Boys and Girls Squash Championship begins today at the club’s squash section in Lagos. The championship will end on June 28, according to the organisers.
 
Speaking on the championship, Tournament Director/Chairman, Technical, Nigeria Squash Federation, Yusuf Durusinlorun, announced that over 75 participants from across the country are expected to compete in the three-day championship.
 
Durusinlorun emphasised that the tournament is part of efforts to develop squash and identify new talents in the sport.

He added that this edition is also being held in memory of the late Adejuwon Bankole Adenuga, a philanthropist and former chairman of the Eko Club, Squash Section.
 
Durusinlorun also said that the competition promises to be exciting and impactful, as young players will have the opportunity to hone their skills and gain valuable experience on a national platform.
