Enugu Rangers sack Ben Ugwu
Following their 0-2 home loss to newly-promoted Akwa Starlets of Uyo at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium yesterday, the management of Enugu Rangers has parted ways with Coach Ben Ugwu.
Ugwu, who was Gbenga Ogunbote’s assistant last season, became Rangers chief coach when the former Enyimba manager left for Lobi Stars at the end of last season.
According to sources at the club, the Enugu State government announced Ugwu’s sack through the General Manager of the club, Davidson Owumi shortly after the game against Akwa Starlets.
Former Super Eagles Assistant Coach, Sylvanus Okpala has been tipped to become the Flying Antelopes new coach.
