Football scouting Reality TV Show last team standing debuts

A new television show tagged, ‘Last Team Standing Football Reality TV Show Talent Scouting Programme, which will involve players from 36 states of Nigeria, is set to debut in the country in September, the organisers have announced.

A new television show tagged, ‘Last Team Standing Football Reality TV Show Talent Scouting Programme, which will involve players from 36 states of Nigeria, is set to debut in the country in September, the organisers have announced.

According to the organisers, the football talent hunt show will take a close camping format to ensure the best team is selected.

Speaking at a media parley to unveil the reality show, Project Director, Osayande Agbontaen, said the programme was designed like Multichioce’s Big Brother format to empower and encourage youth development, as well give Nigerian youths the privilege to showcase their skills in a closed camp that would be viewed live on television.

“The scouting programme began on February 20 and will end on May 31 in different states. Application is open for free for players from the ages of 16 to 22 years. The registration would be done on line.

“588 players would be screened in different states before the final 168 players would be selected for the final round.”

He revealed that football legends such as Tijani Babangida, Peterside Idah and other experienced coaches would be at he close camping to monitor the players.
