Nigerian forward Blessing Owolabi Kenya has emerged as the highest-scoring Nigerian player in Europe after netting an impressive 30 goals in 24 matches in the 2025 Kazakhstan Women’s Football League.
The 19-year-old striker, a product of Nakamura FA in Lagos, enjoyed a breakout season marked by consistency and flair, adding 20 assists to her tally.
Kenya began the campaign with Biik Kazygurt, where she scored 22 goals in 12 appearances before sealing a loan move to Tumiris Turan for the second half of the season. She maintained her fine form, bagging eight goals in 12 matches for her new club to complete a remarkable season haul.
Speaking with the press, Kenya attributed her prolific form to discipline and self-improvement.
“Discipline has been key for me; it has helped me evolve and focus better on my game,” she said.
She also credited her grassroots coach, Rotimi Vianney Ronaldo, for his constant guidance and mentorship, which she said inspired her goal-scoring success.
