Five Katsina Football Academy (KFA) players are set to join Katsina United Football Club (KUFC) following their recent promotion to the national league.

This was made known in a congratulatory message issued by the Academy’s Director, Shamshudeen Ibrahim, on Friday afternoon.

Ibrahim identified the players to include Usman Abdullahi, Ahmad Nasir, Umar Yusuf, Abubakar Hassan, and Kabir Muhammed Kabir.

The players are expected to begin playing for Katsina United as the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season commences on August 22.

While congratulating the players on reaching another milestone in their football careers, Ibrahim charged them to be good ambassadors while at the number one club in the state.

He also urged them to redouble their efforts and work harder as they are going to participate in the top league in the country.
