NFF sets ₦1,000, ₦3,000 ticket prices for Nigeria, Rwanda World Cup qualifier

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced ticket prices for Saturday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between the Super Eagles and Rwanda’s Amavubi, while stressing strict measures against ticket racketeering.

Fans seeking access to the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo will pay ₦3,000 for the VIP section and ₦1,000 for popular stands. Tickets will be available at designated centres across Uyo from Friday morning.

NFF Director of Marketing and Sponsorship, Alizor Chuks, said the federation’s Security Committee has introduced stronger checks to prevent ticket fraud. “It is important to let the general public know that the NFF Security Committee has declared total war on all ticket manipulators this time. Ticket fakers and racketeers will be dealt with. All tickets will be scanned at the gates. All intending spectators are advised to buy their tickets from accredited ticket sellers. Fake ticket sellers or holders will be arrested and prosecuted,” he warned.

Preparations for the encounter have intensified in Uyo, with the Rwandan delegation arriving at the Victor Attah International Airport on Tuesday evening, led by FERWAFA President, Fabrice Shema Agoga. The team is lodged at Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort and began training at the Nest of Champions’ practice pitch on Wednesday.

In the Nigerian camp, Africa Player of the Year Ademola Lookman and Cyriel Dessers joined the squad on Wednesday morning at their Ikot-Ekpene base. Five other players, including Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze, were expected later in the evening.

The Super Eagles and Amavubi will face off at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium as both teams continue their push for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
