Osimhen departs for Istanbul tonight

The Guardian can exclusively reveal that barring any last-minute hitches, Super Eagles’ weapon of mass destruction, Victor Osimhen will depart for Istanbul tonight.

Osimhen’s close acquaintance exclusively revealed to TheGuardian on Monday after the players’ one-week in Nigeria break ended. Osimhen is expected to be in Turkey to team up with teammates ahead of Galatasaray’s league clash against Gotzepe on Saturday.

”Osimhen is leaving Istanbul tonight after his short break in Nigeria,” he told TheGuardian

It would be recalled that the former Wolfsburg striker put smiles on the faces of Olusosun community in Lagos after he distributed 2,000 motor tricycles and food items to youths and mothers.

His kind gesture helped spread the message that Christmas is known for, providing much-needed succor to the needy during the festive season.

The forward also extended the distribution of food items hometown of Benin while friends and families had a lot to cheer during the Yuletide celebration

The 25-year-old striker, who has been in sensational form for Galatasaray this season -scoring 12 goals with five assists in 15 appearances
