How Scorpion Spikers, Offa VC won Abuja Invitational Volleyball Championship
The 2023 Abuja Invitational Volleyball Championship has ended with Scorpion Spikers and Kwara’s Offa VC as champions by successfully seeing off 48 other teams in both the men’s and women’s categories.
Scorpion Spikers defeated COAS Spikers in the men’s final to claim the gold medal, winning 3-1 (26-24) (18-25) (25-17) (25-22), sending COAS to the second position, while G-Ranks won the bronze medal.
Offa Volleyball Club thrashed Games Village in three sets of 25-22, 25-16, 25-22, sports betting to win the women’s category in the competition held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
As part of efforts to encourage the teams, basketball betting tips all-male teams went home with N200,000, while all the women’s sides got N160,000 as participating fees.
Speaking after the victory, Offa Volleyball Club Head Coach, Sulaiman Ajeigbe, how to bet basketball over and under expressed happiness for leading his boys to the title, adding that they are the future of volleyball in Nigeria. He disclosed that they have started preparing for the championship’s premiership.
Chairman of, Referee Committee, Samuel Timothy, commended the officiating, which he said was way above average.
Also speaking on the championship, president of, Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Musa Nimrod, how many quarters are in basketball commended the tournament’s sponsor, adding that most of the players are raw talents with a number of them still writing secondary school exams.
“The competition consists of volleyball players who don’t play in the league. zero risk betting strategy This is the real grassroots we are talking about. I am not surprised with the performance of Offa because they have developmental programmes and they have always been together. The future is bright for the game because of them,” he said.
