Ikeja Golf Club’s Competition Secretary, Jolomi Ideh, has assured players and enthusiasts coming for the 2016 Corporate Challenge Cup that this year’s edition would rank among the best-organised events in the history of the tournament.

Jolomi, who revealed during the week that everything needed for the competition has been put in place, added that the line up for the competition promises a keenly contested event.

He said the two-day event, billed to hold on September 23 and 24, will feature about 20 corporate organisations, including the defending champions, Oak Pensions, Light Level Ltd, Yoke Solutions, Ubosi Eleh & Co., Xpress Payment Solutions, Sterling Bank, Prime Metro UK, Oceanic Health, Jungle Film Works, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Golf View Hotel & Suites, Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc, Adeco Project Engineers, 7Up Bottling Company, Digital Marketing Ltd, Alpha Pharmacy, Boab Engineering Services, AYB & Company and Strasscorp Limited.

Jolomi, who will be overseeing the event this year, enthused that the event has become a must play for all corporate organizations and golfers.

He added, “Ikeja Golf Club Corporate Challenge is one of the biggest tournaments at the club. It is an event everybody wants to be part of. That is why the club is putting everything in place to make sure that the event lives up to its rating.’’

The Ikeja Golf Club Corporate Challenge Cup debuted in 2010 and since then, the three previous winners of the competition have had the honour of branding three different strategic holes for a year, as a way to reward for the team’s performance.
