The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) has chosen Kaduna State as host of this year’s camp for its U-19 team. The exercise started yesterday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

In a statement issued by the federation, YSFON President, Dr. Yusuf Gawuna, described the 10-day exercise as a mark of good preparations for the lads, while appealing to all officials involved in the programme to make adequate preparation for their players to promptly report to the venue.

“We have made adequate preparations for a hitch-free exercise, while all those concerned are expected to report to the venue with their players on time to commence the programme,” the YSFON boss said.

He reminded Nigerians that the camping was part of the body’s annual programme aimed at developing talented footballers for the country, promising that the Federation would continue to collaborate with various national teams towards getting quality players that will win laurels for the country at continental and global level.
