“I know our match against the Rivers United will be tough and it will be crucial for us. But we hope to win our first match at home in tomorrow’s match.

“You know when we played against them at the Ahlan Cup, Rivers United defeated us 1-0 during the quarter-finals of the pre-season tournament here in Kano State,” he said, adding that tomorrow’s duel with Rivers United would be a different match all together.

“This term around they will see a different Kano Pillars by the grace of God. It will not be the team Rivers beat at the Ahlan Cup pre-season tournament.
