Lagos invites five Bulmaro players for training ahead of Edo 2020

Ahead of this year’s National Sports Festival billed to hold in Benin, Edo State, the Lagos State Football Association has invited five players from the National League One outfit, FC Bulmaro to a training camp.

The players, who have already reported to camp at the Agege Stadium, include Adedeji Daniel, Godwin John Sebastian, FC Bulmaro Captain, Chibuzor Patrick, Basit Yusuff and Olabode Hassan.

In a letter to the FC Bulmaro Chairman, Leslie Oghomienor, signed by the Secretary, Lagos State Football Association, Akeem Rabiu Okikioposu, and Chairman, Technical Committee, Dotun Coker, the Association thanked Oghomienor for his support for the growth of the game, as well as youth development and empowerment in Lagos State.

Speaking at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, FC Bulmaro Coach, Gonzalo Debiasi, described the invitation by the state’s Football Association, as a testimonial that the coaches were living up to their expectations and that the players were focused, ready to learn and be good.

“This is made possible by the combined efforts of the players, who are focused and ready to learn, the very well committed and selfless technical team, with the zeal to achieve great result.

“Above all the huge interest and investment channelled to the club by the promoters to ensure that the club is built to become a world class team that can fearlessly take part in any competitive football event, like the Mediterranean Cup, where we beat world class teams,” he said, adding that the invite extended to the FC Bulmaro players was a testimony of what the club is doing.

“The players’ invitation is a bright indication that we are doing good and we hope to do better. We thank the Lagos State FA for the strong encouragement.

“We hope the players would do the team proud if given more of this kind of opportunities to enable our players showcase their gifts and talents,” Gonzalo stated.The team’s Captain, Godwin John Sebastian, described the invitation as a call not only to the invited players, but also to the entire team including the technical and supporting crew to strive for excellence.
