Activities marking the 53rd yearly National Conference and Workshop of the National Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD) began yesterday, at the Lagos State University with the arrival of states’ delegates and participants.

The Conference and Workshop will end on September 27 September, 2025.

Chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC), Prof. N.A Sentonji, said that LASU is fully ready to host a memorable conference and workshop.

“We have done all that is necessary for us to do regarding logistics. We are only waiting for the participants to start arriving,” he said.

The conference and workshop has Prof. R.A Moronfolu of LASU as the keynote speaker, while Dr. Uchenna Dim of the National Orthopedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos, will present the lead paper.

Dr Femi Abioye of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) is the event facilitator.
