LCDA chairman lauds second phase of Lagos Sports Summer Camp in Ikorodu

The second session of the camp in Ikorudu, which first began in Badagry, is an initiation of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s office and facilitated by the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC).

Daini, who was at the Ikorodu’s camp yesterday, applauded the governor for the initiative, said the camping would allow the youth to have better relationship with one another as it promotes teamwork. He then urged the youth to translate what they learnt at the camp for a better tomorrow.

He added that the camp would also enable the youths have better relationship with one another while promoting teamwork.

The council boss urged the youth to translate what they are learnt at the Lagos Sports Summer Camp to a life changing activities for a better tomorrow.

“You can be a producer of large power bank in your locality if you concentrate on what you are being taught on how to produce it, which is part of what you are going to learn at the camp,” he said.

The council boss then promised to give participants of the camp some gifts at the closing ceremony on Saturday to round off the seven days camping period of the state Sports Summer Camp.

The seven days phase two of the three phases Lagos Sports Summer Camp, is 60 per cent of sports and 40 per cent life skills to be learnt by participants.
